Comedown

So, I had an incredibly hectic last week and I wasn't able to post
But im going to make up for it by posting about an hour and a half worth
of new music.

Lazy Rich released his newest single titled "You Missed  A Spot". Synths start kicking in at about one minute and continue on till about the drop at one minute and thirty seconds. The drop he provides is something that all hard Electro lovers will appreciate. Great song to get the crowd moving.

Alesso released a preview today for his newest remix "Titanium" originally by David Guetta. The two minute preview provides us with a very uplifting vibes. The drop uses the similar sounding synths to those in "Calling". Regardless, really nice preview.
Apster put out his newest remix of "When I Dip" orginally by  Bingo Players featuring  J2K and MC Dynamite. Combing the elements of Electro and Rap, Apster puts a very soft drop to this otherwise very pop song. Look out for future projects from him.

Aoki and Tiesto released their track titled Tornado. Very interesting sound coming from these two. In the build up you can clearly here, Steve Aoki manipulating the synths, and then you can hear Tiesto take over from the drop onwards untill the build up again.

No Body released his newest single which is a new groovy edit of "That's Just The Way It Is". It keeps  the same piano part as the orginal song and adds this drop that all comes together with some hard banging electro at two minutes and sixteen seconds.

Preview the new Laidback Luke remix below, titled "Dutchano".
Beautiful dirty dutch coming from this video

"Take My Hand" is the new funky remix from treasure fingers. Song is incredible groovy, and will  make you get up and dance. The sample he uses makes you think youre back in the 70's at some disco club.

So R3hab gave us his remix of Kate Perry's "This One Got Away. Im going to say its sound like some typical R3hab. Hard hitting drop. So here's the vocal edit to listen to and the instrumental to download.

Returning to the vibe of some good french house, I want to introduce this fantastic remix of Daft Punk's "Something About Us" by Cherokee. This remix is something special. Very progressive and chill. Great music for studying.

This next song dropped last week while I was still in exam mode. "Lionheart" is the newest single from superstar producer Afrojack. He uses some of his old synths to create this incredible build up with culminates with a very intreasting drop. Around a minute and a half, things start getting crazy with some vocals and then a hard build up to the drop at around two minutes and sixteen seconds, then repeats itself for an encore.

Afrojack Lionheart (Original Mix)

I'm really feeling the new Swanky Tunes remix. This time, Yves  Larock and The Cruzad get special house attention. The lyrics are kept to provide this great house feel. Around one minute and five seconds the drop starts building in the background and hits you full force around a minute and thirty seven seconds.

Its been a while since I've heard anything from Drop The Lime. He just dropped a new remix of Willy Moon's "I Wanna Be Your Man". He still has this incredible production skills that keeps the listener guessing whats going to come next. Listen to see what I mean.

Willy Moon I Wanna Be Your Man (Drop The Lime Remix)

After this song, Peace Treaty should be a household name. Diplo and Oliver Twist both from "Mad Decent" released GO. They also released a couple of remix's to go along with the orginal. Peace Treaty turns this song into something I would expect to hear in an old "In Search Of Sunrise Mix". One of the best remix's I've heard all year. This is an essential tune to add to your EDM collection.

Deadmau5 newest remix sounds like nothing I've ever heard from him before. Beautiful, Rich & Horny sounds like a deep house track.  It stays the same for most of the track. If you like yourself some nice groovy house, check this song out.

Melleefresh N' Dirty 30 Beautiful, Rich & Horny (Deadmau5 Club Mix)

Kaskade loves releasing his bootleg's and mash-ups. He took the vocals from "Be Still" and laid it over the anthem "Big Bang". Kaskade really likes his female vocals. Great big room tune.

Netsky released a remix a couple of days ago. "Anticipate" which is originally producedby Skream gets completely re-worked. Drum and Bass synths on this with a bit of house influence.

Finally I'm going to leave you guys with the new Dillon Francis remix of Underneath The Syncamore by Death Cab for Cutie.

Nicolas "Nico" Jaar - New EP

Hey again guys! Once again, it has been quite a while since my last post, (the one on Rustie's amazing Glass Swords) but I'm back! This was supposed to be a NERO post because I just saw them live last week and it was incredible, but since it wasn't going to include any very recent material I decided against it. So, if you haven't already, meet Nico Jaar! A f*cking genius of sorts at only 21. He just released his newest, and quite minimal EP, Don't Break My Love for free on his Soundcloud! It contains two masterfully crafted songs; masterfully crafted out of synths, warm fuzz & noise, percussion of all kinds, and fragile but exquisitely executed vocals. Just by listening to the first minute of Why Didn't You Save Me, you can tell Nico's influences come from a range of musical sources. And to be honest, I couldn't tell you what all of them are, but I can tell you that it doesn't matter to know. Just listen to Nico's songs and you'll see why. His compositions are so organic and purposeful that they seem to emerge from you speakers bit by bit as if the song is making up itself in real time. Not sure if that made much sense but whatever, you get the idea, it's good shit. I'll stop now, but be sure to check his debut album too, Space is Only Noise. Now sit back and enjoy Nico's style.
