Volcano
Sorry I've been slacking lately got a lot of stuff going on right now. Lets get to it! new music from a bunch of people.
First off if you havent seen the Big Bad Wolf's Video yet you need to. Peep it below
Anyway, now check this out. Gesffelstein got his filthy hand on this track and recently put out this imprint all over it. You can just tell its him by the way he manipulates these synths.
Matt Balfe is fairly new to the site but his production skills are top quality. His remix of Bounce is really incredible You start hearing the original at around 1 minute and then at about 1 minute 28 seconds you hear this really nice a fluid drop.
Brodinski's newest remix has got to be one of favorites by him so far. He takes Nero's " Got a Crush On You" and makes it into a hard banging house track. Check it out below.
Misha Kitone and Danila Abramov, team up to remix Afrojack's super jam Selecta. It's a hard song to top but I think they did it right with this remix. Great breakdown at 1 minute and 30 seconds. They also add this uplifting melody to the build up, it flows really well. Drop at 2 minutes and thirty seconds= banana's.

My Mind Won't Stop Running
It's been a minute, I know. Recently my efforts have been lacking but this is the first major step in reviving my position on this website. I'm back today after a few months of change and my musical tastes will portray this. I'm back baby.
Let's start with a track I know you'll love. The vibes of Usher and Guetta's radio hit 'Without You' gets a makeover from the legendary Armin Van Buuren. A worldwide sensation who is known for his worldly trance sounds lifts you up with the compelling chorus then sends you away with some progressive synths.
David Guetta & Usher Without You (Armin Van Buuren Remix)
I'm going to slow down the tempo with some Danny Daze. Groovy base lines, chopped up vocals, and an overall consuming vibe allow for this remix of Madonna to consume you. If you readers still remember me you know I love the deep house, if anything this fondness has grown and you'll be seeing many more tracks from record labels like Hot Creations on here.
Madonna Bedtime Stories (Danny Daze Dark Rooms Mix)
A track which apparently caused quite a stir in Ibiza this past summer has almost single handedly opened my eyes to a different sub genre of electronic music. I've slowly fell in love with the likes of SBTRKT, James Blake, and this man Joe Goddard's work definitely should be mentioned in the same breath.
Joe Goddard Gabriel (feat. Valentina)
Fukkk Offf, the German dynamo who's work has been featured in advertisements, does something very special with this track. A smooth electro base line is complimented with very progressive (think Kaskade) piano stabs in correlation with catchy vocals make this remix of Alley Cat a must download.
D' Secret Svc Alley Cat - Fukkk Offf Dub
How about a little funky tech house out of Toronto from Daniel Dubb? I'm not talking Boys Noize tech, a little bit more minimalistic but oh so good.
Daniel Dubb Formatte (Original Mix)
I never got the opportunity to pay tribute to the late great DJ Mehdi. An old track remixed by the likes of the great Thomas Bangalter sends chills down the spines. Rest in peace.
DJ Mehdi Signatune - Thomas Bangalter Edit
I'm going to finish this post off with a track I heard while I was writing. A progressive track which seems to take the best of big players like Alesso, Porter Robinson, and Martin Solveig, add a personal twist, and churn out a monster track. I surely expect to see a lot from Disco Fries in the future.
You'll be seeing me again very shortly, I promise.

Uplifting
This track has this Avicii type uplifting spirit to it. Diego does a wonderful job of getting the perfect amount of vocals then creates a phenomenal drop. Guys watch out for this guy, If he keeps making hits like this, it's only a matter of time before he blows up. In all seriousness who didn't think of Avicii at the 2 minute 10 mark. Honestly one of the better tunes I've heard coming from an unsigned artist. So here it is, Impressions, The remix By Diego Camejo.

Plus check the new track from Bingo Players!

Antidote
Swedish House Mafia released the studio version of their massive track with Knife Party titled Antidote. The newest track is really interesting because there's hints of dubstep in it. Very uncharacteristic for these guys.

Treats
New Tracks from a bunch of different people. Bassjackers, Zed's Dead and Swanky Tunes to name a few. Let these tracks make you dance for the upcoming weekend!
Ferry Corsten Check It Out (Bassjackers Remix)
Pierce Fulton is fairly new to the genre but his recent release titled "pardon my french" has been creating quite the stir in the electronic world. Combining some intreasting hard electro with some intreasting rifts here and there, untill finally creating this intreating drop at about the 4 minute mark.
Phantom by Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa has already been teasing us for awhile. This is your typicall big room house song, with phenominal basslines and a pounding drop. These guys are going to gain massive support from the bigs in House Music.
Bert on beats is a completely new artist to me. I just discovered him today surfing my soundcloud. This is a remix of Buraks Som Sistema's Hangover. Honestly its just crazy jungle style music. I love it. enjoy.
Zed's Dead Rumble In The Jungle. Thats all im saying this song is jungletastic.
Zeds Dead Rumble In The Jungle
Check it out by Ferry Corsten, was already a good song. Bassjackers took this song and added their signature dirty dutch drop and then finished it with some hard hitting electro. Its a very mixable track coming from the duo.

He released a short one hour and fifteen minute mix playing some of his favorite deep house tunes, as well as some of his own productions. Look out for more stuff from him in the future. Moombahouse
More House and Moombahton.
Anyway lets get right into it.
Cobra by Hardwell has quickly rose to prominence on most major blogs around the internet. Hardwell works wonder with a complete set of new plug ins for him to fiddle and manipulate. Its sound competely different then most of his recent productions. It the Official Energy Festival Song and does not disappoint. Check the build up beginning at one minute to experience epicness. Here it is Cobra by Hardwell.
Moving on I'm a big fan of Alex Kenji. His remix's for me have always been on point. Currently touring the world doing event after event he found time to release this remix of "Outro". This track combines a great electro beat plus a very intreasting Brazilian samba like vocals, all put into a light drop that makes this track very unique.
Sander Van Doorn Outro (Alex Kenji Remix)
Plage orginally by Crystal Fighters is already a top notch track. When I saw that Alvaro had remixed it I was very curious to what it would sound like. Great use of Electro and the fantastic vocals of Crystal Fighters.

Wow this next track by Marco V is huge! Big room house music coming from this dutch mastermind. The drop has one of the most funky rifts ive heard yet. Marco V is very underrated, he's been producing some phenomenal sounds lately. Look out for him I expect a lot from him in the next couple of months.
Okay transitioning to 110 we got a couple new Moombahton tracks that just dropped. First up is a track by Nymz a DJ coming out of Orlando, Florida. It's crazy how widespread moombahton is blowing up! Amazon is huge track full with jungle riddems. Its a fun and all over the place track.
Wes De Grand is one of my favorite producers right now. This gem called Whine Up Set combines a very busy moombahton set with some latin vocals and adds a bit of a dubstep element to the moombahton. Crazy stuff here
Thats all for this week, Julian

xrl8r podcast: Pezzner

It's that time of year again, when midterms creep up and you're like WTF am I going to do, I haven't been keeping up the readings. Or if you're like me...what readings? So in honor of students around the country (and world) desperately trying to save their GPAs already this semester (or at least pretend like you are), here's a mix that will help you focus. This mix was made by Pezzner for XLR8R.com for Seattle's Decibel Festival going on right now. Enjoy.

Hey!!
Another all over the place post so try to keep up with me!
Dirty Loud released a remix of selecta, which I really cant even begin to explain how good this is. Its literally like mad decent candy for your ears. This track has already received huge support from blogs and artists and I expect will be played at festivals around the world.
DC native Steve Starks released an incredible track today. Toma Primo is a moombahton jam that hits all cylinders. Its pretty much got everything I look for in a moombahton track. I expect it to gain massive support from the super producers of the genre very soon. Also if you cant get enough of the track make sure to check out his soundcloud, many jams in there. Also for those of you who are in DC, check him out at Nouveau Riche, along with Nacey and Gavin Holland on Saturday October 8th!
Steve Starks Toma Primo (Original Mix)
This next track is really intreasting. I was surfing some of my favorite blogs and I found this gem. Its called Brojob by Hatiras, MC Flipside and Nom De Strip. Talk about some hard hitting crazy ass electro. This track will do wonders at venues around the country. If you listen closely in the background you can hear the moombahton style drum as well..
Hatiras, MC Flipside, Nom De Strip Brojob (Party All Night) (Original Mix)
This song is mad old and but I just found it and have become rather found of it. The Orginal is by outputmessage and is remixed by Nacey. Resurface is a very progressive house track and is great for just hanging around and chilling. Take a listen.

Fabriclive 59: Four Tet

If you are unfamiliar with Fabriclive mixes... -_- but hey, you've got 60 great mixes to catch up on! I suggest one of my personal favorites, Fabriclive 37 by Rusko & Caspa. Anyways, this post will actually include no dubstep, so let's get back on track. Kieran Hebden, a pretty cool British dude whose been making electronic music under the name Four Tet since the late 90s recently did the #59 mix. At a little over an hour, Four Tet delivers seamless, beautiful and ambient 2-step, prefect for the recent weather we've been having. Earlier this year he also managed a collab with Burial and Thom Yorke, together releasing the EP, Ego/Mirror. You can find all the goodies below.
Here are some of my favorite tracks off the mix (I wasn't able to acquire the whole mix as one track) or you can also listen to the whole thing together here.
Four Tet Locked
Crazy Bald Heads First Born (Four Tet Remix)

Melting Pot
There is no common theme here.
Don't even try.
But these tracks are all new.
Felix Da Housecat needs no intro. He's be on the electronic scene for a long time now and has produced countless hits. Swivel Hips put on a show with his remix of Silver Screen Shower Scene. This progressive track has a lot of kick in the drop and will make you jump around in your chair.
Felix Da Housecat Silver Screen Shower Scene (Swivel Hips remix)
Dribble Drabble is Lazer Disk Party Sex's newest production. It sounds like Moombahton meets Electro with a bit of Dub thrown in. It's all over the place but that doesn't take anything away from the quality of the song. Overall, its very well done.
Lazerdisk Party Sex Dribble Drabble
Okay this next song called "Dont Stop" is pure, dirty, jungle style moombahton. Created by Crowd Control, it's a great track with a nice small build up, then a nice progressive drop. Crowd controls style has really been coming up these past couple of months so look out for more productions from them.
Jesus Starkillers and Dmitry KO kill this track. Change of pace, this is a big room house track for all of you that love those big room melodies with female vocals. Enjoy.
Calling Out Of Love is a great mashup by EDX. It honestly so wonderful that im not even going to talk about it, just take a listnen. The official vocal version has still yet to be released but this is a great alternative.
Alesso & Ingrosso Calling Out Of Love (EDX's Love Mashup Mix)
BaBaBa is already a monumental track for producers buraka son sistema. This is what happens when Sabo gets a hold of the track and adds a moombahton twist to it. This is my favorite track on the whole post.
