Lets talk about Third Party...After signing to Steve Angello's Record company "Size Matters" they've done great things. Theve played numerous events on Ibiza. They've made fantastic remixes and original tracks. I want to present to you their newest one "Militia". They took some time out of their busy schedule to remix "Militia" by Denzal Park. So here it is, dirty dutch house music for y'all.
Static is an original track by Mau5trap new signee's Tommy Lee and DJ Aero. The track is nothing short of phenomenal. Simple yet creative, this is going to be a definite banger in the upcoming months.
I posted "You Found Me" by Dim Chris awhile back. I found this remix while listening to Hardwells set on area 26 via Sirius satillite radio. After a few minutes of searching I stumbled upon this fabulous remix of "You Found Me". Here you go....amazing track.
LX-Tronix's are already established here on the Electric Squeeze. They're no strangers to Electronic Dance Music and have been around for quite some time. This time, they take Jay Sean's "Hit The Lights" and add a house twist to it that is unreal.
Last , I have a bootleg by our resident Producer Rew!nd. Its called the "World Together Nillionaire". Great big room house mash-ups, make sure you turn your speakers up for it.
Lets start with some House music. Congorock just released his new track Sirius yesterday. The drop is everything any house enthusiast would expect from Congorock and you guys who've been listening to his productions for awhile, can tell that he his producing skills keep getting better and better.. I actually first heard this track when I attended Hardwell at Fur in DC. It's nuts take a listen.
Continuing with House music, Dirty South and Thomas Gold got together to producer a dirty banger with incredible vocals. The track is called "Alive". Thomas Gold in my opinion doesn't get the recognition he deserves. He is a phenomenal producer and his tracks are played by most major house dj's, one of the most notable being Steve Angello. Well here it is "Alive" by Thomas Gold and Dirty South.
Next up got some house bootlegs for you. Lets start out with Rew!nd's second bootleg this time he takes the Proper One mashup of Swedish House Mafia's massive track "ONE" with vocals by Pink Floyd, and also puts vocals from Steve Angello's "Show me love". It's a great track and we got it first. Enjoy.
Its been awhile but J-trick is back on the Electric Squeeze. This time its not Moombahton, instead he uploaded a massive House bootleg last night. Its called "Take over the Moment" Where he mashes together Tim Mason and Scarlett Quinn. Its been on repeat in my itunes for the past few hours and for good reason.
It's time for my Favorite stuff, MOOMBAHTON. The first track im going to share with you is by KayJay a phenomenal producer out of Wisconsin. He remix's Deadmau5's "I remember" and puts his own Moombahton twist on it. This track has gotten massive support in the Moombahton community, most notable by David Heartbreak. Kayjay is up to great things and It will do you all some good to follow his sound cloud here, Without anymore wait take a listen to this incredible track.

To make up how late I am on finding out about that last song, Check this out Alesso dropped this preview about 20 minutes ago. It's nothing short of incredible. Size Matters will take over House music.

Thursday I attended IDentity Festival in DC (actually in Bristow, VA) with JuliAn, and I thought I would share some highlights for you (in reverse chronological order). The biggest headliners, Rusko and Kaskade were great; but of course, I would expect nothing less. Although I enjoyed his set at Electric Zoo much more so, I loved the reggae and drum n' bass influence Rusko included this time around. He dropped some new tracks, but unfortunately I couldn't quite track them down. The best I can do for you right now is a BBC Radio 1 rip of the brand new "Somebody to Love". Kaskade also threw down from a DJ booth that towered above the crowd. His set was solid yet a bit bland at some points. His remix of "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" did, however, blow the crowd up.
Three other acts really stood out to me: Avicii, Modeselektor, and Booka Shade. Some I expected more from, like DatSik; whose set I was looking forward to (finally some dubstep in the day I thought), but I quickly got bored of his DJing and left his set to immerse myself in the feel good vibes of Avicii. Unlike my colleagues here at Electric Squeeze, I'm not the biggest house fanatics, but I did not want Avicii's set to end.
Not surprisingly, many DJs dropped some version of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep", this was Avicii's.
After that I scurried off to wait for Nero's performance and was surprised to find an insultingly small stage. Unfortunately, me and many others were left heartbroken when Nero never showed. The result was our departure and trip to the Main Stage where dubstep king, Rusko, was playing. It was later discovered that the promoter of the festival had bumped Nero off the line-up last minutes to accommodate Markus Schultz. I will keep my opinions on this matter private. Modeselektor brought the heavy, heavy electro beats to a modest crowd early in the day. I don't know about their matching jumpsuits, but they really got me excited for the crazy day ahead.
The first act we saw was German tech house duo, Booka Shade. Their set started off pretty chill, but built up quickly. I really liked their set up with live drums, which was a break from all the synthetic sounds of electronic music. Check out some of their tunes off of last year's More!
Finally, a really exciting part of the beginning of the day was that our very own DJ Rew!nd got a chance to perform at the Local Stage. Albeit in front of an early crowd, he threw down, blasting everything from SHM to Chuckie.
Overall the ten hours of music shot my ears for awhile, but was totally worth it. For DC's first major electronic music festival, a showing of 12,000 is far from bad. The festival could have been much more organized, as set times were posted minutes before the festival and the different stages were not clearly marked, but oh well. You still have to hand it to the organizers because when you think of the DC music scene electronic music is not the first thing that comes to mind, but you never know what the future holds.
Our resident DJ, DJ Rew!nd, has just dropped his first bootleg called 'Collide Into Darkness'. In his debut, he mashes up Afrojack's remix of Collide and the chorus of Avicii's original 'Fade Into Darkness'. We all know about the whole Leona Lewis and Avicii cleared sample controversy but let's reap the benefits of both their suffering.
