Another all over the place post so try to keep up with me!

Dirty Loud released a remix of selecta, which I really cant even begin to explain how good this is. Its literally like mad decent candy for your ears. This track has already received huge support from blogs and artists and I expect will be played at festivals around the world.

DC native Steve Starks released an incredible track today. Toma Primo is a moombahton jam that hits all cylinders. Its pretty much got everything I look for in a moombahton track. I expect it to gain massive support from the super producers of the genre very soon. Also if you cant get enough of the track make sure to check out his soundcloud, many jams in there. Also for those of you who are in DC, check him out at Nouveau Riche, along with Nacey and Gavin Holland on Saturday October 8th!

This next track is really intreasting. I was surfing some of my favorite blogs and I found this gem. Its called Brojob by Hatiras, MC Flipside and Nom De Strip. Talk about some hard hitting crazy ass electro. This track will do wonders at venues around the country. If you listen closely in the background you can hear the moombahton style drum as well..

This song is mad old and but I just found it and have become rather found of it. The Orginal is by outputmessage and is remixed by Nacey. Resurface is a very progressive house track and is great for just hanging around and chilling. Take a listen.

A New Contender

Hello readers,

Please allow me to introduce myself (I'm a man of wealth and taste...). My name's Josh. I've been producing trance for over a year, have been playing guitar for 9 years, and am currently learning to DJ. I'm a big fan of what this site is trying to do (it will definitely help with my music library and mixes). You should be seeing me post trance, house, IDM, glitch, and downtempo material (and everything in between). Now, on to the music...

TRANCE:

What do you get when two trance giants collaborate on a track and then two Scandinavians remix it? If you answered "a euphoric masterpiece", you are correct. Trance enthusiasts should already be familiar with Andy Moor and Markus Schulz, ranked 32nd and 8th respectively in the 2010 DJ Top 100 poll, but may not have heard of Lemon and Einar K, who have burst suddenly into the trance scene. Their remix of "Daydream" is fantastic, with incredible synth rises and falls after the breakdown. Hair-raising trance at it's best.

The genius that is Oliver Smith never ceases to amaze. Being dubbed as one of the best trance producers today, it seems like everything he touches turns to gold, and that appears to be the case with his remix of Duderstadt's "Stranded in NYC". Smith blends his own melodies in with the original track's already famous structure, giving you a much stronger progressive vibe.

HOUSE:

This next track is the Dirtyloud remix of Felguk's "Whatever Clever". Both of these groups are gaining quite a following on Beatport and for good reason, as their intense electro house tracks really pack punches. This remix is a very dance-able track with very cool, low-end glitches.

As half of the house group Sidekick, Max Zotti is a DJ, remixer, and a very talented producer. His somewhat recent remix of Deadmau5's "Fifths" adds a deep house element, which makes the track groovy, with some cool, relaxing background synths.

IDM/CHILLOUT:

Phutureprimitive is, without a doubt, one of the absolute best producers I've ever heard. His music ranges from psychill to ambient, with major downtempo and dubstep influence. His new album, "Kinetik" came out a few months ago, and it would be rude not to call it GENIUS. I think this guy is making some major moves on the EDM scene and I HIGHLY recommend you check out his stuff. I'm featuring one of the tracks from that album, "Cryogenic Dreams", which is simultaneously beautiful and grimey (in the best way possible).

ELECTRONICA:

Typically when you think of Deadmau5, you think of "Animal Rights", "Ghosts N Stuff", and so on. But what about before he was famous? Deadmau5 came out with "Project 56", a compilation of 56 mini-tracks, before his debut album "Get Scraped", which was in itself an electronica album! I HIGHLY recommend you check out Deadmau5's early material, especially if you think he is not talented (his early work might make you think otherwise). "Waking up From the American Dream", off of Get Scraped, is a beautiful and simple composition, centered around a piano riff. If you like this stuff, also check out "I Forget", "Uvivial", "Bored of Canada" and "Wish You Were There".
