I'm Feeling Love

Let's start today off with a dose of Miami legend, Danny Daze.  Daze entered the DJ scene at the young age of 13 and has come a long way since.  His experience and bass heavy brand of deep house has brought him to the forefront of his craft and his latest EP, 'Your Everything', is a clear sign of that.  Rather than pointing to the accolades of his latest release, I will praise the man, who hates classifying sub genres, for developing an original sound comprised of deep vocals complimenting synth heavy bass lines.  I have, for you, the two song 'Your Everything' EP and a bonus remix of Joe Maz.

I have given a fair amount of coverage to the release of Azari & III's debut album, appropriately named 'Azari & III'.  The wait ended on Tuesday when the album was made available for download on Beatport.  I don't think I need to go on about the deep vibes and disco influences of the Toronto quartet, again.  However, I definitely recommend buying the album and in order to entice you to do so, here is a sample.

The French duo known as BeatuCue recently released a new remix of Mika on their SoundCloud for free download.  I, already a fan of the countless electronic musicians (and artists in general) that have heralded from France, quickly became enamored with the duo's uplifting sounds which are seemingly a trademark of their countryman's music.

Our love affair with SebastiAn continues as he releases an amazing mix.  As we patiently wait for Ed Banger's golden goose, Justice, to release their second album, SebastiAn represents his label the right way.  Obviously the Electric Squeeze favorite doesn't disappoint in this latest upload but the October 25th release of 'Audio, Video, Disco' has all of our attention.  For whatever reason I cannot embed the mix into this post, so for a direct link click here.

Grab Bag

I put this post together I'll admit, swiftly, but by no means does that imply low quality. Perhaps simply, just less chatter. Here we have a bunch of sick tracks that aren't exactly recent, but are great nonetheless. We have dnb/dubstep, French electro house, electropop Aussies, and more.

Enjoy :]

First up (pictured above), a Chase & Status remix. You may know the duo as the founders of MTA Records, which signed the massive, Nero.

This next one is by Van She, an electropop band from Sydney.

If you like Nosaj Thing or Flying Lotus, or anyone else on Brainfeeder, you'll like this youngin from LA, Shlohmo.
Birthday Beat - Shlohmo

Finally, if you've stuck long enough with this post, you deserve a surprise:

Digitalism made a mix in honor of HARD fests all over the country this summer. You can catch them, alongside Caspa, Dillon Francis, and others when HARD comes to 930 club on the 18th. Listen, download, and turn that shit up.

Imagine

We at Electric Squeeze are all now left with less than a month until our return to school.  I wouldn't worry however, because the music will never stop.  No one will nor can ever stop us from providing our great readers with their daily squeeze.  Today I have a mix of the new and old, but the quality is consistent.  Let's lead off with the three men who are bringing the disco back in D.C. (disco central?), Will Eastman, Output Message, and Micah Vellian. You may know this trio better as Volta Bureau and here is their debut single, Hope.

If you have been reading this blog for a while you might know that we have a little crush on SebastiAn.  His hit single, Embody has been on my playlist for months.   Well yesterday when I was looking through my Soundcloud, I found this remix by fellow Frenchman and Ed Banger artist Kavinsky and instantly fell in love.

Maya Jane Coles is known for her deep house tendencies and this next track is no different.  It is a little different than what we tend to post here but expect that to change.   It carries many of the same elements as the nu-disco we have posted in the past and although it doesn't necessarily have an addicting hook,  the funky vibes that stem from the hook are consuming and very enjoyable.

Maya Jane Coles Little One (Original Mix)

Judging by the vocals and cover art, it's fairly safe to say that the production process of this next track involved tripping on a large quantity of LSD.  However, it's safe to say that they did something right.  A slower BPM and tech house elements work well in combination with the 'California sunset' feel of the vocals.

Matt John Hello Again (Californian Sunrise) - Original Mix

I'll leave you today with a banger and the promise of even sexier goodies to come in the very near future.  Recently my Soundcloud has been filled with music I would love to post and you will share my joy with me.  JuliAn's posting tomorrow but don't worry, I'll be back shortly.
