My Mind Won't Stop Running

It's been a minute, I know.  Recently my efforts have been lacking but this is the first major step in reviving my position on this website.  I'm back today after a few months of change and my musical tastes will portray this.  I'm back baby.

Let's start with a track I know you'll love.  The vibes of Usher and Guetta's radio hit 'Without You' gets a makeover from the legendary Armin Van Buuren.  A worldwide sensation who is known for his worldly trance sounds lifts you up with the compelling chorus then sends you away with some progressive synths.

David Guetta & Usher Without You (Armin Van Buuren Remix)

I'm going to slow down the tempo with some Danny Daze.  Groovy base lines, chopped up vocals, and an overall consuming vibe allow for this remix of Madonna to consume you.  If you readers still remember me you know I love the deep house, if anything this fondness has grown and you'll be seeing many more tracks from record labels like Hot Creations on here.

A track which apparently caused quite a stir in Ibiza this past summer has almost single handedly opened my eyes to a different sub genre of electronic music.  I've slowly fell in love with the likes of SBTRKT, James Blake, and this man Joe Goddard's work definitely should be mentioned in the same breath.

Fukkk Offf, the German dynamo who's work has been featured in advertisements, does something very special with this track.  A smooth electro base line is complimented with very progressive (think Kaskade) piano stabs in correlation with catchy vocals make this remix of Alley Cat a must download.

How about a little funky tech house out of Toronto from Daniel Dubb?  I'm not talking Boys Noize tech,  a little bit more minimalistic but oh so good.

I never got the opportunity to pay tribute to the late great DJ Mehdi.  An old track remixed by the likes of the great Thomas Bangalter sends chills down the spines.  Rest in peace.

I'm going to finish this post off with a track I heard while I was writing.  A progressive track which seems to take the best of big players like Alesso, Porter Robinson, and Martin Solveig, add a personal twist, and churn out a monster track.  I surely expect to see a lot from Disco Fries in the future.

Massive (Squeeze Edition/ Recovery)

Holy Hell, Idenity Festival in Bristow Virginia was crazy. Unfortunately, because I attended the craziness, I had to miss out on Moombahton Massive at Uhall. This post is dedicated to some brand spanking new moombahton. Oh and im going to add in a little dubstep at the end.

First up, is a track by one of the founding fathers of moombahton. I'm talking about Sabo. Sabo is based out of LA and has been making Moombahton for a while. He's established himself in the Genreand has played venues in DC numerous times. In this remix, he takes the classic latino song "Cuban Queen" and adds his own flair to it.

Gonzalez & Gonzalo Cuban Queen (Sabo's Moombahton Edit)

This song features the talents of the Nadastrom and Sabo. For those of you that don't know, Nadastrom is composed of two people. Grammy Nominated "Matt Nordstrom" and Moombahton Creator "Dave Nada". This song is a complete change of pace from most of the Moombahton I post on here. This song "Far Nearer" features a really incredible use of steel drums. Being from the island of Trinidad, I have a huge soft spot in my heart for any use of that instrument. So here it is Nadastrom and Sabo's Edit of "Far Nearer".

Following the trend of really chill and soft Moombahton, I want you to pay very close attention to a producer called Jon Kwest, who is slowly establishing himself on the moombahton scene. "Cubia" is an easy listen and has a beat that will keep you pressing the repeat button for days to come.

Sazon Booya, a phenomenal moombahton Producer out of NYC, returns to the attention of the electric squeeze with "EL Gato Volader". This moombahton jam goes everywhere, play this with loud speakers and you will not be disappointed by the extreme rifts and the mellow beat.

This next remix was just released by Torro Torro. It remixes the already massive moombahton hit "Que Que" by Diplo and Dillon Francis. Massive track. Fuego

Lastly, I'm going to leave you with a dubstep goodie. The original song "Killer" was produced by Disco Fries fries featuring the pop superstar Clinton Parks. This track was re-done by Qbik and Xsessiv, and turned into a phenomenal dubstep production.

That's all for now

Except for Lil B
New tracks though from all over the scene.

First up, I got a massive remix to Benny Benassi's beautiful people its hot. The build up delivers the classic Benny, while Disco Fries adds some of his owns twist. This whole style culminates in the drop where you here the clear influence of Disco Fries. All around massive track. Enjoy. Props to Nora for showing this to me.
This is for my Dubstep readers out there....Derek Allen, for those of you that dont know, this man hails from the maddecent family. The sample is very eerie as well, but its a good balence to this track. Let me Shut up and you click play.

I don't really know what category this falls in. I think its a bit of Hardstyle mixed in with some hard vocals and some sprinkles of electro... Whatever man its still a banger. Its Called DJ drop that bomb and its by Lo traxx. Some quality drops in there as well.

Continuing with my obsession with Disco Fries for the moment being, they just dropped this new track "drop it low". I'm going to be blunt... The drop gets me hard...there..I said it. The drop is actually unbelievable.
#Moonbahton....J-trick teaming up with Anndyk for this one. Straight up moonbahton dub goodness...Oh god protect your speakers this one gets heavy. Song is called Blaze It.
Madeon this french prodigy is doing big things in France. I expect him to be a magnificent DJ when he comes of age. He's new song is funky as hell. He puts some really unique sounds in there to make this track come together.
This is by Totally Krossed Out of maddecents label....enjoy this...
Well anyway thats all I got for you today..hope you enjoyed this post..
