Dafting




In the early 90's, Frenchmen Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter only started playing with synths and drum machines after their rock band failed miserably. Some may call it the most beneficial failure of all time. Upon discovering the new amazing possibilities and sounds that can be born from the art of the electronic dance music genre, the two formed Daft Punk. I would go as far as to say that there is not on successful electronic artist which wouldn't admit to being heavily influenced by the combo. I have sampled only a few of their biggest hits in this post because I highly recommend that, for the full experience, you purchase their work. Each song by them appears to be an electronic masterpiece. I am the proud owner of not only their three studio albums Homework, Human After All, and Discovery, but also their Alive 2007 CD.
